Lakeside and Harvey are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Lakeside Dragons will challenge the Harvey Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Lakeside came up short against Geneva and fell 62-55. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Harvey also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Chagrin Falls by a score of 67-58.

Lakeside will have to keep a close watch on Deontae Ware and Armani Hall, a pair of players who had a big impact on Harvey's prior game. Ware went 8 for 19 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds, while Hall dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Kam Leftwich, who posted seven points and five boards.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Harvey, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Lakeside came up short against Harvey when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 59-47. Can Lakeside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
