Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hilltop Christian walked away with it. They strolled past the Greenville Christian Academy Knights with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 43-25. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won nine in a row.

Hilltop Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Philip Joyner led the charge by going 5-for-10 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Barbour, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Eli Suggs and Connor Dial certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Suggs put up seven points, while Dial had five points. Dial is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played.

Hilltop Christian's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Greenville Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 21-12 record.

Coming up, Hilltop Christian will face off against Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Triad Baptist Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Hilltop Christian likes a good challenge. Greenville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
