Volleyball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short

St. Charles entered their matchup against Valley Lutheran on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

St. Charles now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for Valley Lutheran, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Charles will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coleman at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Valley Lutheran, they will square off against Michigan Lutheran Seminary at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
