The Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 58-49 win over St. Joseph Academy.
Jayden Lebron continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with seven rebounds. Derick Augustin was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Cornerstone Charter Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for St. Joseph Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
Cornerstone Charter Academy and Lighthouse Private Christian Academy will face off at 3:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lighthouse Private Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 655 points over their last nine games. St. Joseph Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jupiter Christian at 4:30 p.m. on January 20th. Jupiter Christian is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
