With a playoff win on the line, Centennial rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Danville Vikings a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Centennial, who have now won ten matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Alaina Kimble and Alicia Fernandez scored all four of Centennial's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 47 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Centennial and bumps their season record up to 12-10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two contests. As for Danville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

As of now, neither Centennial nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
