Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wheatmore). They came out on top against the East Davidson Golden Eagles by a score of 32-20 on Friday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 14-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Wheatmore's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for East Davidson, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Wheatmore will square off against West Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Davidson, they will challenge Providence Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
