Baseball Game Preview: Oakland Tech Bulldogs vs. Mt. Eden Monarchs

The Oakland Tech Bulldogs will challenge the Mt. Eden Monarchs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Oakland Tech's favor as the squad sits on 15 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Mt. Eden has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Oakland Tech is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Berkeley on Saturday. They fell 5-1 to the Yellowjackets. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Mt. Eden lost 8-2 to Albany on Wednesday. The match marked the Monarchs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
