Soccer Recap: Norwalk Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oskaloosa on Wednesday, Norwalk came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Norwalk came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Bondurant-Farrar are ranked 61st).

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7-4. As for Bondurant-Farrar, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Norwalk nor Bondurant-Farrar have any future games scheduled.
