Baseball Recap: Forest City Comes Up Short

Forest City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Mountain View Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Foresters of the 16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Wyatt Reynolds and Max Urbas did some serious damage despite the final result: Reynolds went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Urbas went 1-for-3 with one home run. Those RBI marked the first that Reynolds brought in this season.

Forest City's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mountain View, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Forest City is set to take on their familiar foe Blue Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mountain View will challenge rival Lackawanna Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
