Basketball Recap: Roeper Roughriders vs. Parkway Christian Eagles
Roeper and Parkway Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Roeper had to settle for second. They lost 55-32 to the Parkway Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-35 back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkway Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tamerah Peterson, who posted 19 points along with seven assists and seven boards. Peterson has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 43 times she's played. Angelina Marchesi was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds.
