Volleyball Recap: Chowchilla Wins Going Away Against Parlier

Chowchilla won the last time they faced Parlier and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tribe were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chowchilla was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-10.

Chowchilla can attribute much of their success to April Miller, who had seven aces and three digs. Those seven aces gave Miller a new career-high.

Miller wasn't the only good servers: Chowchilla was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive contests.

Chowchilla is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. As for Parlier, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Chowchilla has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Hanford West on the 28th. Parlier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
