Softball Recap: Corcoran Comes Up Short

Corcoran managed to slip by Strathmore the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 7-0 to the Spartans on Thursday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Corcoran saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Melody Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Corcoran now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Strathmore, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8.

Corcoran has already played their next contest, a 14-0 defeat against Woodlake on the 12th. As for Strathmore, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-8 win against Granite Hills on the 12th.
