Abbeville Christian Academy had won six straight games dating back to last season and Cassie Braddy did her part to make it seven on Saturday. The Generals came out on top against the Escambia Academy Cougars by a score of 2-0 thanks in part to Braddy, who had four aces and three digs. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Abbeville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Escambia Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Abbeville Christian Academy and Escambia Academy will both be playing Ezekiel Academy the next time they take the court. The Generals will head out to face the Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
