Volleyball Recap: Ferris Comes Up Short

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mesquite Skeeters.

Ferris took Mesquite into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 15-point loss. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 15-0.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mesquite, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Coming up, Ferris will face off against Maypearl at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Yellowjackets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mesquite, they will head out to face off against Everman at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
