Flag Football Recap: Northside Methodist Academy Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Northside Methodist Academy's offense. They took a blow against the Russell County Warriors on Monday, falling 37-0. The Knights have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Russell County found their leader in freshman Kora Perry, who threw for 176 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground.

Northside Methodist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Russell County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Northside Methodist Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 tie against Early County on the 23rd. As for Russell County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 35-0 win against Charles Henderson on the 20th.
