After a string of four wins, Snowflake's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 66-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Florence Gophers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Lobos still had to take the loss.

Brody Ramirez was his usual excellent self, going 11 for 21 on his way to 30 points and six rebounds for Florence. Adrian Taufaasau was another key player, going 7 of 11 on his way to 15 points.

Snowflake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Florence, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Snowflake will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Alchesay at 7:30 p.m. Alchesay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season. As for Florence, they will head out to face off against Seton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Florence's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
