Football Game Preview: Shaw Warriors vs. West Bolivar Eagles

The Shaw Warriors will face off against the West Bolivar Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shaw is looking for their season's first victory.

Shaw is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 30-22 to South Delta on Friday.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, West Bolivar brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past Riverside 38-0 on Friday. Considering the Eagles' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Shaw's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for West Bolivar, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Everything went Shaw's way against West Bolivar when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Shaw made off with a 26-6 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
