Basketball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss

Windham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt an 81-53 loss at the hands of the Killingly Trailbazers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 5, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Windham lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Anden Gonzalez, who posted 24 points. That was a full 45.3% of Windham's points, marking the fourth time in a row Gonzalez has had more than a third of the team's points. Alexander Pomo was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Windham's record is now 4-16. As for Killingly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

As of now, neither Windham nor the Trailbazers have any future games scheduled.
