Football Recap: Brookside Comes Up Short

Brookside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-7 defeat at the hands of the Margaretta Polar Bears.

Brookside's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Margaretta, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Brookside will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Keystone at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Margaretta, they will square off against Willard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Polar Bears' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
