Centennial hadn't done well against Ironwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Coyotes sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

While Centennial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 27-25, 25-12.

Centennial pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Ironwood, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Centennial will head out on the road to square off against ALA - Queen Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ironwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Notre Dame Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
