Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Comes Up Short

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lincoln Cardinals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-8.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17-1. As for Lincoln, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-13-1.

Lakeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Sacred Heart on the 22nd.
