Volleyball Game Preview: Benton Cardinals vs. Park Hill South Panthers

The Benton Cardinals will face off against the Park Hill South Panthers at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Benton sitting on four straight wins and Park Hill South on three.

On Thursday, Benton earned a 3-1 victory over St. Pius X.

While Benton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: St. Pius X scored at least 22 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Park Hill South got the win against North Kansas City on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Benton's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Park Hill South, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Benton came up short against Park Hill South in their previous meeting back in March, falling 2-0. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
