Lafayette Central Catholic lost to Covington back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Knights came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0.

Lafayette Central Catholic easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Lauren Johnson and Brooke Thompson, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Paige Perez and her 16 assists. Ella Sattler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lafayette Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Covington, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
