Volleyball Recap: Deuel Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cardinals on Tuesday. Deuel lost 3-0 to Arlington. The loss continues a trend for Deuel in their meetings with Arlington: they've now lost four in a row.

Deuel was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Arlington work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-17, 25-17.

Deuel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Arlington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deuel will welcome Tiospa Zina at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arlington, after both having extra time off, they and Sioux Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
