While Prospect didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Silver Creek Raiders on Friday. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly eight runs.

Kendall Tabora made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Tabora was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Sydney Slezak and Isa Shields did most of the damage at the plate: Slezak scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Shields went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most stolen bases Slezak has posted since back in April of 2024. Dani Rauscher was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
