Soccer Game Preview: Scheck Hillel Community School vs. Varsity Opponent

The Scheck Hillel Community School Lions will face off against the Varsity Opponent Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Scheck Hillel Community School's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Varsity Opponent has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Varsity Opponent better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Scheck Hillel Community School really get things going. Scheck Hillel Community School never let Belen Jesuit onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Adam Waich and Joe Stern scored all three of Scheck Hillel Community School's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, Varsity Opponent fell victim to New Braunfels Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0.

Scheck Hillel Community School's win bumped their record up to 7-0-1. As for Varsity Opponent, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16-1.
