Baseball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

Plainview's last matchup with Madison County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. Plainview lost 16-6 to Madison County. The Bears' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Plainview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Sampson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Madison County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.
