Basketball Recap: Rodriguez Gets the Win

Rodriguez saw some tournament action on Saturday. They secured a 52-47 W over the Inderkum Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Mason Adimora had an outrageously good game as he shot 56% from the field on his way to 20 points and three blocks. That's the most blocks he has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Khamanni Martin, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 14 points.

Rodriguez was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Inderkum only racked up nine.

When it comes to explaining why Inderkum lost, don't look at Jaeden Goodman. Despite the final result, he shot 67% from the field en route to 17 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeden Claxton, who earned four points and six rebounds.

Rodriguez's record is now 2-0.

Rodriguez will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Marin Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on the 4th. As for Inderkum, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-48 win against Natomas on the 25th.
