After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southwest Guilford, Ragsdale was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Western Guilford Hornets a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Ragsdale, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Micah Moody and Emerson Everhart scored all three of Ragsdale's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

The victory snapped Ragsdale's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-10 record. As for Western Guilford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15-1 record this season.
