Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Valley). They put the hurt on the Grandview Greyhounds with a sharp 18-7 victory on Saturday. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by seven runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for East Valley, bringing their record up to 15-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Grandview, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

East Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Greyhounds: the pair will be back at it again later today.
