Soccer Recap: Warrior Run Snags Tenth Win in Last 11 Games

Warrior Run proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 15) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Milton Black Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Maura Woland had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Warrior Run.

Warrior Run has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up five goals over those 11 matches. As for Milton, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-2.

Warrior Run and Milton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Defenders will square off against Montoursville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (64 vs. 223). Meanwhile, Milton (ranked 51st) will meet Lewisburg (ranked 204th) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
