Noel Smith, Whitefield Academy's leader in assists on the season, led the team again on Saturday. Smith went 11-for-17 on her way to 28 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds. The effort marked the most assists she has had since back in December of 2024. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points.

Looking ahead, Smith and Whitefield Academy will venture away from home to square off against Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Smith will face off against Emma Zutterman, the Valkyries' star forward. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the court.
