Mahomet-Seymour is a perfect 10-0 against Taylorville since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Tornadoes at 5:00 p.m. Mahomet-Seymour will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Mahomet-Seymour was able to grind out a solid victory over Mattoon, taking the game 3-1.

The Bulldogs hit the Greenwave with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Erika Johnson, Isabel Lietz, and Ella Walk.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Taylorville was forced to settle for a draw. They and Meridian/Sangamon Valley/Central A&M finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Monday.

Mahomet-Seymour pushed their record up to 11-4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. Taylorville's draw gives them a new season record of 4-14-1.

Mahomet-Seymour was able to grind out a solid win over Taylorville when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 3-1. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
