Softball Recap: Medfield Takes a Loss

Medfield lost against Gloucester back in June of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Warriors fell just short of the Fishermen by a score of 5-3. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Avery Razza made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cate Rodenhi, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Medfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Gloucester, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

While Medfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Monday.
