Baseball Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Gets the Win

Lafayette Jefferson won the last time they faced Anderson and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bronchos came out on top against the Indians by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bronchos.

Lafayette Jefferson got a great performance from Nate Hilsabeck as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave Hilsabeck a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ethan Lane, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Mason Pechin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lafayette Jefferson's record now sits at 13-9. As for Anderson, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-8.
