Fairfax and Alhambra are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fairfax took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Wednesday. They blew past Central 3-0. The Stampede not only won last Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Fairfax took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Alhambra came tearing into last Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since October 24, 2024.

Fairfax's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Alhambra, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Fairfax suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Alhambra when the teams last played back in September. Can the Stampede avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
