Baseball Game Preview: Comer Tigers vs. Billingsley Bears

The Comer Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Billingsley Bears at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Comer's hitters haven't had much luck over their past five games, but Saturday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Comer came up short against Dadeville, falling 22-1.

Meanwhile, Billingsley fell victim to LAMP and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Golden Tigers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Billingsley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Boice, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Boice has posted since back in April of 2024.

Billingsley's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Comer, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
