Volleyball Recap: Tupelo Christian Prep Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Tupelo Christian Prep and Pine Grove squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Tupelo Christian Prep had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since September 16th.

While Tupelo Christian Prep was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Addison Eaves and Ana-Miller Coker, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Addison Dixon and her 14 assists. Finally, Ruby Watson kept Tupelo Christian Prep's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Tupelo Christian Prep's loss dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Pine Grove, they pushed their record up to 23-11-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Tupelo Christian Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine Grove, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Potts Camp on the 9th.
