Franklin proved they can win big on Monday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Socorro Bulldogs, sneaking past 4-3. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 14-12-1. As for Socorro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-15-2.

Coincidentally, Franklin and Socorro will both be playing Pebble Hills the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th.
