Plano West and Plano are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Plano West Wolves will welcome the Plano Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Plano West will be strutting in after a win while Plano will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Plano West turned things around against Rains on Saturday. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 6-2.

The team relied heavily on Abby Cuellar, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaaya Mehta, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Plano West hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Plano came up short against Lone Star on Friday, falling 13-3.

Plano West now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Plano, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
