Colorado Springs Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They enjoyed a cozy 50-35 victory over the St. Mary's Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-23 back in February.

Colorado Springs Christian was led to victory by Rose Ross and Abigail Perry. Ross posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and four steals, while Perry shot 70% from the field en route to 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Perry is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Capri Simpson was another key player, putting up seven points.

St. Mary's lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaela Pedro, who had 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Lyon, who scored ten points.

Colorado Springs Christian pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.6 points on average over those games. As for St. Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
