Zakyi Kimber Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Saturday, Bloomfield got the W thanks in part to Zakyi Kimber playing the best football he has all season. Kimber rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Kimber and Bloomfield will be playing at home against Lewis Mills at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warhawks got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Spartans, probably because Kimber had a solid game then too: he rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown.
