Baseball Recap: Providence Grove Patriots vs. Robert C. Byrd Eagles
Providence Grove scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Robert C. Byrd Eagles a 7-0 shutout. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Andrew Thomas was excellent, going 1-for-4 with a stolen base, two RBI, and a double.
The victory got Providence Grove back to even at 6-6. As for Robert C. Byrd, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
