Volleyball Game Preview: Watsonville Wildcatz vs. Greenfield Bruins

After both having extra time off, the Watsonville Wildcatz and the Greenfield Bruins will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Watsonville will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each match than the last.

Watsonville not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 21, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Everett Alvarez 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Wildcatz in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Watsonville never let Everett Alvarez on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Greenfield came up short against Alisal back in September, falling 3-0. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-18.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Watsonville, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-14.
