Softball Recap: Claremont Comes Up Short

Claremont fell victim to Bonita and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Bearcats, falling 11-0. The Wolfpack have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Claremont saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia Avalos, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Claremont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Bonita, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Claremont is set to take on their familiar foe Ayala at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bonita will face off against rival Diamond Bar at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
