Utica Eisenhower put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Utica Chieftains by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Utica Eisenhower easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18.

Gina Fedrigo paced Utica Eisenhower's offense, picking up four kills. Fedrigo got some help from Liliana Lily Tripi and her ten assists. Tripi also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Liliana Gegovic, racking up two apiece.

Utica Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Utica, they dropped their record down to 1-7-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

After both having extra time off, Utica Eisenhower and L'Anse Creuse North will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on September 3. The match will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. Utica has already played their next contest (against Marian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
