Georgetown Prep beats Landon for their second straight win

Recap: Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas vs. Landon Bears
The Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas won the last time they faced the Landon Bears, and things went their way on Saturday too. Georgetown Prep narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Landon 24-21. The win made it back-to-back wins for Georgetown Prep.
Colin Reynolds continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 228 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
Georgetown Prep's victory was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 6-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-7 Riverdale Baptist and 2-7 Pallotti (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 44.4% over those games). As for Landon, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
Georgetown Prep will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Episcopal at 2:00 p.m. Landon will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bullis at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
