Basketball Recap: Springs Valley Comes Up Short

Springs Valley lost against Loogootee back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Springs Valley Blackhawks fell 44-37 to the Loogootee Lions. The matchup marked the Blackhawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Springs Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Loogootee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Springs Valley will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Riverside at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. Riverside will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Springs Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Loogootee, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Jac-Cen-Del at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Jac-Cen-Del's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
