Basketball Game Preview: Eagle's View Warriors vs. Westside Wolverines

The Eagle's View Warriors will challenge the Westside Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eagle's View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.

Eagle's View proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 36) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Wolfson 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since February 17th.

Eagle's View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JUSTIS CLEMENTS, who went 6-for-13 en route to 12 points in addition to five boards and four steals. CLEMENTS is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played. JAKARI MAJOR was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Westside had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 55-51 W over Paxon School For Advanced Studies on Tuesday.

Westside's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Eagle's View, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Things could have been worse for Eagle's View, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-45 loss to Westside in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Thankfully for the Warriors, Jaylen Mitchell (who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 15 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
