Wall lost to Ponder back in December of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Hawks snuck past the Lions with a 48-44 victory.

Ponder's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Durham, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 17 points. Houstton Webster was another key player, going 6-for-11 on his way to 13 points.

Wall's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Ponder, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Wall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-42 defeat against Glen Rose on the 12th. As for Ponder, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 41-26 victory against Springtown on the 12th.
